Who is eligible to enroll in a Geisinger Gold plan?
You are never too old to join a Geisinger Gold plan. Because we work with Medicare, anyone eligible for Medicare can join one of our plans. That's the law, unless you have end-stage renal disease (ESRD) or are receiving hospice care.
We never screen anyone because of age, the way some Medicare Supplement (Medigap) Plans do. This is just one of the differences between our plans and a Medicare Supplement Plan.
To join Geisinger Gold plan, you must:
Live in our service area (the counties we serve)
Be eligible for Medicare Part A
Be enrolled in Medicare Part B (and continue to pay your Medicare Part B Premium)
